10 members fished the latest 1919 competition in a strong north east breeze and results were much better than expected, perhaps the conditions had brought the fish inshore. Sam Collier fished Kingsdown and took first prize with 13 dogfish and a Herring for 8.090 k.g. Steve Hackett was second with 6.840 k.g. and in third place was Brian Smith with 6.610 k.g, Brian also took the heaviest fish prize with a dogfish of 930 grams. Saul Page was 4th with 5.810kg and John Green 5th with 5.590 k.g. No flatfish were landed with Saul Page taking the flatfish prize with the second biggest fish a dogfish of 860 grams
