I loaned my new Grey's Apollo rod to a mate the other night. He asked about tip lights and I told him to buy a tip light and stick it on ( Meaning with tape). Got the rod back and he has superglued the *beep* straight on to the rod. Not even in the right place, and its a bright pink *beep*. Anyidea if the superglue deactivator will damage the rod material?

Nightmare, bet your really  Just checked with my resident chemist and Acetone (Nail Polish Remover), test it on a small part to make sure is doesn't take the finish off your rod, and use a cotton bud so you do not get it every where. Apparently its a weakness of superglue.

Good Luck!!

Marcus

If you don't get anywhere with the Acetone, please PM me. My husband builds theatre scenery and props for theme parks, etc. He's always working with adhesives and says he'll gladly take a look.
